Innovate (Innovate Productions Ltd) is a trading name of Island Marketing Ltd.

​

Island Marketing Ltd, started producing point of sale items to the retail sector over 30 years ago (registered in 1988) before evolving in to the company we are today.

​

For the last 15 years Island have invested heavily in both technology and people, expanding our expertise to retail displays, events, experiential marketing campaigns, exhibitions, high-end interiors and much more.

Fast forward to March 2020 and we found ourselves in a global crisis with the events industry completely shut down and the retail sector looking likely to follow the same fate. It's in Island's DNA to be able to problem solve, adapt and overcome.

 

As a family run company and an employer, we are doing everything we can to try and safeguard as many jobs as possible, as well as looking at ways that we can help with the current crisis. In the early stages of this outbreak we were assisting the NHS by designing, prototyping and 3D printing critical ventilator valves that couldn't be supplied by the manufacturer. We were privileged to play a part in a project that undoubtedly made a difference to people's lives.

Moving forward, it appears that remote working is likely to be much more popular for a variety of reasons. Businesses have now realised the benefits for people working from home but having a dedicated space to work in every home isn't always possible. For this reason we decided to use our production skills and capabilities to design and produce a range of home office furniture dedicated to remote workers. The first of these products is the Etä Desk, which we hope you enjoy using as much as our own workforce have.
